As soon as the summer holiday arrived, the first Junior Ranger camp in the Ecodidactica project, funded by DBU Germany, took place in Rimetea in the Trascau Mountains.

And how could not start the camp without the students knowing, the activities started with a game called the plane. Each student took his self-portrait on a sheet of paper, wrote his name, the destination where he would most like to go and what he would do with it. The planes were launched into the air, each student caught one and so they met.

After the games of knowledge, the camp participants also found out what it means to be a ranger, experimenting with the ranger job themselves, patrolling the area, observing and identifying plants, birds and insects. Junior Rangers have also been researchers for a day, they have discovered insects, studied them carefully, gave them a name, and grouped them by common traits. After days of beautiful but demanding activities, the evenings at the fire were real moments of relaxation, where the mountain guitar sung, roast sausages and baked delicious marshmallows.

At the end of the camp, 20 Rangers juniors went home with beautiful memories, unforgettable experiences and a well-deserved Junior Ranger diploma.
